What is the topic I am studying?

So to understand gender within science there are several branches and directions I can take and I need to pick one. So let's brainstorm, what can we study within this topic:

• Women's role within science (aka sexism within the science field ). For the sake of labeling, I will refer to this sometimes as Women in Science.
• How social prejudice infiltrates into science. In this section, Gender can expanded to include the women/men dichotomy, in addition to example of LGBT studies. Paralelism can also be made with scientific racism.

For sure, the second part is the most interesting to me, though the first seems more readily available online.
